Description

A tincture is an infusion of an herb or herbs, for medicinal use. Certain preparations of liquids are used to extract the beneficial plant compounds out of the plant solids. My tinctures are highly concentrated so a few drops goes a long way. To use a tincture, simply add a few drops to a glass of water and drink it.

This tincture is formulated to support hormones regulation and fertility for women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Active ingredients include-

Barberry

Barberry, with its berberine content, has shown promise in managing PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) symptoms. Studies suggest it can improve ovulation rates, menstrual patterns, and reduce insulin resistance in women with PCOS. Some research indicates it may also aid in weight management related to PCOS.

Berberine’s ability to improve insulin sensitivity can be beneficial for women with insulin resistance, a common factor in PCOS and other conditions.

Barberry is traditionally used to support uterine health and may be helpful for conditions like uterine fibroids due to its cholagogue action (stimulating bile production and release), which can help regulate estrogen levels.

Vitex Berry

Vitex Berry is believed to help regulate several reproductive hormones, including luteinizing hormone (LH), progesterone, and prolactin.

Vitex Berry is thought to have a regulating effect on the pituitary gland and its release of luteinizing hormone (LH), helping it secrete the right amount of LH at the right time throughout your cycle. In doing so, it may indirectly optimize progesterone and estrogen levels.

It may contribute to a decrease in PMS symptoms such as bloating, breast tenderness, and mood swings, and an improvement in the regularity and length of her menstrual cycle.

Ashwaganha

Ashwagandha may help regulate hormone levels, impacting the menstrual cycle, reproduction, and menopause. Research suggests it may positively affect the endocrine system, which regulates mood, stress response, and reproduction.

By balancing hormones like follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH), ashwagandha may help regulate irregular menstrual cycles. It may also help manage conditions like PCOS and endometriosis.

Ashwagandha’s stress-reducing and anti-inflammatory properties may help reduce PMS symptoms like anxiety, depression, mood swings, bloating, headaches, and muscle aches.

Studies suggest ashwagandha may boost libido and sexual desire in women, potentially by lowering stress and improving mood. It may also help improve arousal, lubrication, and orgasms.

Ashwagandha may positively impact fertility by regulating hormones and optimizing ovarian function. Its adaptogenic properties may help the body cope with stress, which can negatively affect fertility. The isoflavones and flavonoids in ashwagandha may mimic estrogen activity, further supporting fertility.

Holy Basil

Holy basil is an adaptogen, meaning it helps the body adapt to stress and can reduce anxiety. This can be especially helpful for women experiencing hormonal fluctuations or dealing with the demands of daily life.

Holy basil may help regulate hormones and alleviate symptoms associated with hormonal imbalances, such as menstrual cramps or mood swings.

Holy basil’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties can improve skin health, potentially reducing acne and promoting a healthy complexion.

Holy basil may help alleviate menstrual cramps and discomfort due to its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties
