Description
A tincture is an infusion of an herb or herbs, for medicinal use. Certain preparations of liquids are used to extract the beneficial plant compounds out of the plant solids. My tinctures are highly concentrated so a few drops goes a long way. To use a tincture, simply add a few drops to a glass of water and drink it.
The Toothache Plant (Spilanthesacmella) has a numbing effect, which can relieve toothaches when it’s tincture is applied to teeth and gums. The plant can also fight oral bacteria, treat oral ulcers, periodontitis, and oral tumors. It’s anti-inflammatory and pain relieving properties make it great for other types of pain as well. The toothache plant is a natural diuretic, which helps the body get rid of excess fluid. The tincture can help with stomatitis, which is inflammation of the mouth.
