Description
A tincture is an infusion of an herb or herbs, for medicinal use. Certain preparations of liquids are used to extract the beneficial plant compounds out of the plant solids. My tinctures are highly concentrated so a few drops goes a long way. To use a tincture, simply add a few drops to a glass of water and drink it.
Red clover is specifically known to support fertility in women. Red Clover has been shown to increase cervical mucus, aiding vaginal dryness. Red Clover is high in both calcium and magnesium. It can promote hormonal balance in women, enhancing their chances of successful conception.
Red clover may also have blood-thinning properties, which keeps blood clots from forming. It appears to improve blood flow. Isoflavones found in red clover might help reduce symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes and night sweats, because of their estrogen-like effects.
Red clover is sometimes used to reduce bone loss, treat prostate cancer, and decrease cholesterol to support heart health.
