Honey ferments are a perfect example of food for healing, and are good to have on hand with cold weather up ahead. Garlic, lemon, and fresh ginger are all excellent immunity boosters, and raw honey is a soothing sweetener for sore throats, amazing for allergies, and it has a probiotic boost.

The long infusion in the honey creates a strong-flavored, delicious healing elixir by the spoonful, added to salad dressings, or drizzled over savory dishes like meat and veggies. The lemon, ginger, and vanilla versions are also great in tea, or over sweet dishes like oatmeal.
