Description

This is a loose leaf herbal tea blend that comes with an infuser. You’ll just add some of the dried herbs to the infuser and steep as you would a tea bag, in a mug of boiling water. All of our herbal teas are caffeine free. There are about 30 servings in one pouch, depending on how much you like to use per scoop.

The quick version- This mixture is designed of powerhouse herbs that are loaded with essential vitamins, minerals, and plant compounds to strengthen and support your blood, bones, and organs.

Ingredients-

Red Raspberry Leaf

It’s incredibly rich in iron. Getting enough iron can combat the anemia often experienced by women with heavy menstrual cycles.

Red raspberry leaves contain fragarine, a plant compound that helps tone and tighten muscles in the pelvic area, which may reduce menstrual cramping. When used during pregnancy, Red raspberry leaf tea may also improve labor outcome, and prevent excessive bleeding after childbirth. It can help strengthen your uterine walls, decrease labor time and reduce the use of birthing interventions.

Alfalfa

Alfalfa contains vitamin K and small amounts of many other vitamins and essential minerals like folate, magnesium, iron, and copper. It is also high in many bioactive plant compounds.

Alfalfa has been shown to decrease cholesterol levels in animal studies. This is probably because it contains plant compounds called saponins.

It may benefit metabolic health, menopause symptoms, and antioxidant levels.

Nettle

Ancient Egyptians used nettle to treat arthritis and lower back pain, while Roman troops rubbed it on themselves to help stay warm. Nettle offers a variety of vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, polyphenols and pigments — many of which also act as antioxidants inside your body. A few of its superstars include Vitamins A, C and K, as well as several B vitamins, Calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium.

Nettle may help suppress inflammation, which in turn could aid inflammatory conditions, including arthritis. It may also help reduce prostate size and treat symptoms of an enlarged prostate gland in men.

It can also reduce hay fever symptoms, and can help regulate blood sugar levels. Nettle may help lower blood pressure by allowing your blood vessels to relax and reducing the force of your heart’s contractions.

Nettle has been found to reduce excessive bleeding, especially after surgery. It’s antioxidant properties may protect your liver against damage by toxins, heavy metals and inflammation.

Dandelion

Although it’s often dismissed as little more than a stubborn lawn weed, dandelion has been used in many forms of traditional medicine for centuries.

Dandelion greens are an excellent source of vitamins A, C, and K. They also contain vitamin E, folate, and small amounts of other B vitamins. What’s more, dandelion greens provide a substantial amount of several minerals, including iron, calcium, magnesium, and potassium. The calcium and vitamin K in particular help keep bones strong.

Dandelion is full of potent antioxidants that help neutralize free radicals, and may protect against cell damage and oxidative stress, which helps prevent bone loss. Studies have found that dandelion root extract may slow the growth of cancer cells in liver, colon, and stomach tissue.

Bioactive compounds in dandelion may improve insulin sensitivity and help decrease blood sugar levels.

Dandelion may decrease triglyceride and cholesterol levels, both of which are key risk factors for heart disease. It’s diuretic effect can help detoxify certain organs, including the liver, and help lower blood pressure.
