Description
A tincture is an infusion of an herb or herbs, for medicinal use. Certain preparations of liquids are used to extract the beneficial plant compounds out of the plant solids. My tinctures are highly concentrated so a few drops goes a long way. To use a tincture, simply add a few drops to a glass of water and drink it. All of our bottles are labeled with usage instructions.
This particular blend acts as an anti-"all the things". The herbs in this blend have been proven in studies to be antibiotic, antifungal, and antiviral. Basically, if your body is fighting something off, use this!
My herbal blend supports gut health by addressing unwanted organisms, can help dismantle candida biofilms, enhances beneficial organisms, may improve regularity and reduce bloating and gas, helps improve vitality and mental clarity, and just helps you get well quickly. I have included many herbs in this and each one has hundreds of benefits, but I'll list off just a few of my faves.
Oregano
This herb is shown in studies to kill harmful bacteria, fungus, and viruses alike, while leaving beneficial bacteria intact.
Bilberry
Bilberry is full of vitamin C, anthocyanins, and other antioxidants that help fight free radicals in your body. By protecting against free radicals and cell damage, bilberries may help reduce your risk of developing certain types of cancer. The antioxidants in bilberries can help reduce inflammation in your body.
Noni
Noni has traditionally been used for colds, flu, diabetes, anxiety, and high blood pressure, as well as for depression and anxiety. All plant parts are used for a variety of illnesses in Samoan culture, and noni is one of the most frequently used Hawaiian plant medicines.
Studies show noni may improve joint health, increase physical endurance, increase immune activity, inhibit glycation of proteins, aid weight management, help maintain bone health in women, help maintain normal blood pressure, and improve gum health.
White willow bark
The bark of white willow contains salicin, which is a chemical similar to aspirin. In combination with the herb's powerful anti-inflammatory plant compounds (called flavonoids), salicin is thought to be responsible for the pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effects of the herb.
