This is a loose leaf herbal tea blend that comes with an infuser. You’ll just add some of the dried herbs to the infuser and steep as you would a tea bag, in a mug of boiling water. All of our herbal teas are caffeine free. There are about 30 servings in one pouch, depending on how much you like to use per scoop.

This is a curated blend of herbs to help calm the mind and body.

Commonly used to treat anxiety and insomnia, scientists believe passionflower works by increasing levels of a chemical called gamma aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. When the levels of GABA are increased, it helps decrease the activity of some of those depression-inducing brain cells. Using passionflower can help anxiety quickly, within an hour or two. Passion flower contains compounds that have sedative properties, which can help reduce anxiety. It can also increase serotonin.

Lemon Balm

Lemon balm was used as far back as the Middle Ages to reduce stress and anxiety and promote sleep. It may work by increasing gamma-aminobutyric (GABA) levels in the brain. GABA is a mood regulator which works by stopping neurons from becoming overexcited, and low levels of GABA can lead to restlessness and anxiety. Ingesting lemon balm increases calmness, memory, and alertness in adults under mental stress.

St John's Wort

St. John's wort may reduce symptoms in people with mild-to-moderate depression. Research suggests that St John's wort works in a similar way to standard antidepressant medication, by increasing the activity of brain chemicals such as serotonin and noradrenaline that are thought to play an important part in regulating our mood. When using the herb for mental health, it is important to use it daily for a prolonged time. It may take a few weeks to notice the effects of St Johns Wort for mood issues, which is why we combine it with the other fast acting herbs in this blend for more immediate relief.

Sage can improve memory in low doses. Higher doses also elevate the mood and increase alertness, calmness and contentedness. Sage helps modulate our bodies production of both dopamine and serotonin, positively affecting overall mood, thinking, planning and focus. The antioxidants in sage protect the brain from oxidation and ultimately, from neuro-inflammation. In one study, users who consumed sage experienced improved mood and cognition. They described improved “alertness,” “calmness,” and “contentedness.” Another study showed that simply smelling the aroma from the essential oil increased their alertness and enhanced long-term memory.
