Protein powders can add an extra level of simplicity to a health conscious lifestyle, but there are big problems with plant based protein powders.

Adequate protein is important for everyone, but especially for those who exercise rigorously. Protein is used for building and repairing muscles and tissues, red blood cells, hair, and fingernails and for synthesizing hormones. Protein is necessary to reduce the risk of iron deficiency anemia and to support healing.

Protein "isolates," found in plant based protein powders, are extracted using toxic solvents, the residues of which remain on the final product, which is denatured, and tough on the digestive tract. Plant based protein powders (especially soy) are also full of hormone disruptors and phytic acid, an anti-nutrient that robs your body of necessary minerals like calcium, iron, and magnesium. Even whey protein is denatured and oxidized through high heat processing.

Our protein powder is not like any other. It's made from dehydrated, pasture raised, organic eggs from our farm! Our eggs are processed at low temps to maintain the integrity of their nutrients. The powerful advantage of the protein in eggs links to the fact that eggs contain sufficient amounts of all nine essential amino acids to support effective muscle growth, recovery, and maintenance.

Pasture raised eggs are naturally rich in vitamin A, which is necessary for building muscle mass after protein consumption. Lean plant based protein powders lack vitamin A. Pasture eggs contain 2/3 more vitamin A, 2 times more omega-3 fatty acids, 7 times more beta carotene, and twice the vitamin E of conventionally raised eggs.

Most protein powders have tons of synthetic vitamins added in, but because pasture raised eggs are so naturally rich in vitamins and minerals, ours doesn't need any added. They are rich in vitamin D, folate, selenium, B2, E, B5, B12, as well as iron, iodine and phosphorus.

Eggs help increase high-density lipoprotein (HDL) levels – or “good” cholesterol as it’s commonly known – and this is one reason why eggs have been found to have little to no effect on heart disease risk.

It's low-density lipoprotein (LDL) – or "bad" cholesterol – that can put heart health at risk. Meals high in saturated fats and trans-fats such as deep-fried takeaway foods are the key culprits when it comes to increased risk levels of LDL cholesterol.

Eggs are one of the best food options to assist with weight management. The high satiety levels of eggs leads to greater feelings of satisfaction, less hunger and a lower desire to eat later in the day, meaning you’ll be less inclined to reach for that mid-afternoon snack.

Studies have found that eating eggs can make you feel full for longer by:

-Increasing levels of a hormone that helps you feel satisfied after eating

-Keeping energy levels higher

-Boosting metabolic activity

-Delaying the rate at which food leaves the stomach

Eggs are the star, but our protein powder has several other impressive ingredients-

Coconut milk powder-

Coconut milk may help lower cholesterol and promote weight loss. It can provide essential vitamins and nutrients, including vitamin C, potassium, and iron. It's perfect to consume before and after a workout because it can help balance electrolytes. It is also full of antioxidants and promotes a healthy immune system. Coconut milk also has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antifungal properties, and it supports a healthy heart.

Raw Pumpkin Seed powder-

Pumpkin seeds are a good source of antioxidants, magnesium, zinc, and unsaturated fats, all of which may help keep your heart healthy. They are rich in protein, healthy fats, magnesium, zinc, and iron. They are also rich in antioxidants which may help protect against disease and reduce inflammation. Some research suggests that pumpkin seeds may contain plant compounds that could help protect against cancer growth. Pumpkin seeds can also help to stabilize blood sugar, and they are known to kill parasites within the body.

Coconut Sugar

Unlike other sweeteners, coconut sugar has a low glycemic index, meaning it doesn't cause a blood sugar spike. Even calorie free sweeteners cause our blood sugar to spike, as they trick the body into recognizing them as sugar… but not coconut sugar. Coconut sugar is one of the most nutrient dense sweeteners, rich in iron, zinc, calcium, and potassium. Coconut sugar contains inulin, which has the ability to stimulate the growth of good gut bacteria.

Cacao-

Cacao powder is packed with flavonoids. These nutrients have been shown to help lower blood pressure, improve blood flow to the brain and heart. Cacao is rich in antioxidants, as well as critical minerals like magnesium and iron. It is actually the highest plant based source of iron! Cacao also improves cognitive function, supports the immune system, and can help support a healthy weight.

Himalayan Salt-

Undoubtedly, Himalayan pink salt is much more than just a flavorful seasoning. Because of its rich mineral content, Himalayan salt can help to promote better health, including improved digestion, improved circulation, and better hydration. It can also help to reduce stress, improve mood, and even support bone health. A pinch of Himalayan salt added to any beverage can help your body maintain proper hydration. We add just a bit to our protein powder mix so you get some of the mineral and electrolyte benefit, without a salty flavor.

We know you will enjoy the convenience, taste, and health benefits of our Pasture Raised Protein Powder. Enjoy!Other ingredients- yuca root, acacia fiber.
