Description
A tincture is an infusion of an herb or herbs, for medicinal use. Certain preparations of liquids are used to extract the beneficial plant compounds out of the plant solids. My tinctures are highly concentrated so a few drops goes a long way. To use a tincture, simply add a few drops to a glass of water and drink it.
Some of our best allies against allergies can be found in plant compounds. Made of antihistamine herbs, this tincture has been incredibly helpful for my family. It's great used in combination with my "Sneeze" roll-on. If allergies are an ongoing struggle, it is wise to support your liver with the Detox Tincture as well.

Stinging nettle
Stinging nettle leaf may be useful in reducing the symptoms of hay fever by acting as an anti-inflammatory. Some research has linked treatment with stinging nettle leaf to relief of symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes.
Goldenrod
Goldenrod is an antihistamine and an incredible decongestant, effectively alleviating upper respiratory congestion stemming from allergies.
Elderberry
Elderberry's anti-inflammatory properties combined with immune regulating properties have been shown to calm allergies.
Raw Honey
So many swear by consuming raw local honey to help with seasonal allergies.
Peppermint
Peppermint helps to decongest the sinuses and open the airways.
Bromelain
An enzyme derived from pineapple, bromelain has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for seasonal allergies and other inflammatory disorders.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C acts as a natural antihistamine and antioxidant. Studies have shown it may decrease inflammation, swelling, and related symptoms of an allergic reaction.
